Adaptable Performance
All three of the engines offered for the 2024 Grand Cherokee have plenty of power, with a standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 coming in all gas models, a 2.0-liter turbo hybrid I4 under the hood of Grand Cherokee 4xe models, and a 5.7-liter V8 that’s an available option for select three-row models. The V6 delivers 293 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, and while that’s impressive, the 357-horsepower 5.7-liter provides 390 pound-feet of torque and a best-in-class 7,200-pound tow rating.
Then there’s the I4 hybrid engine, which generates 375 horses, 470 pound-feet of torque, and an estimated total driving range of 470 miles. Four-wheel drive is available and comes standard on Grand Cherokee Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve models, as well as all hybrid 4xe models.
Luxury and Convenience
Inside this luxurious SUV’s cabin, you’ll find plenty of room for passengers, with seating for up to five in two-row models and up to seven in those with the three-row design. Depending on the trim level, the seats offer available thermal settings and come in a wide variety of upscale fabrics, like Capri, Nappa, and Palermo leather trim and premium cloth.
The vehicle’s exterior offers an available hands-free power liftgate and standard LED daytime running lamps and taillamps. The black-painted roof, which comes on select models and is available for others, gives the vehicle a two-tone appearance, though you can also have many two-tone body paint colors to choose from, like Black with Midnight Sky, Velvet Red, or Baltic Gray.
Innovative Technology
Taking technology to the next level, this SUV also provides a standard 10.25-inch instrument cluster behind the wheel and many available features that include a wireless charging pad, the Digital Rearview Mirror, and two premium audio systems, one with nine speakers and the other with 19. There’s also the standard Uconnect infotainment system, which provides entertainment options, wireless smartphone connectivity, and, in upper trim levels, turn-by-turn navigation assistance, as well as the separate Front Passenger Screen.
Standard driver-assist features offered with this edition range from stabilization systems like Electronic Stability Control and Electronic Roll Mitigation to a suite of collision avoidance systems that include Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking and Pedestrian/Cyclist Detection, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path Detection, and Active Lane Management.
