We are lucky to have many sweet spots to stop for great coffee here in Kilgore, TX. Some of our favorite local coffee shops offer simple mugs of hot coffee as well as unique specialty drinks. Here are our top picks in town.
1. Memi D’s Coffee
This is a great little place to stop for coffee. It’s a local experience from start to finish since they use coffee roasted by a locally owned company. Their Signature Drinks menu is where we recommend looking for something different. Try their Almond Joy, a coconut and almond-flavored mocha that’s bound to hit the spot.
This favorite spot to stop for coffee is located at 1210 Stone St. It’s open from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm on Monday through Friday and 7:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays. You’ll love how easy the keyless ignition in your Jeep Renegade Latitude makes climbing in with four to-go cups in hand.
2. Euphoria Coffee & Tea Lounge
There’s a lot happening in this downtown lounge. They sell all manner of surprising items, including skate gear, but their focus is their specialty hot drinks. The shop is located at 222 E Main St.
Their coffee drink menu includes frappuccinos, cappuccinos, cold brew, espresso, and lattes. They also come up with daily coffee specials. They have a ton of flavors they can add to any drink you order, including pumpkin spice and Rolo. Adding the white chocolate flavoring to an iced latte here is a special treat we recommend.
3. The Fillin Station Donut and Deli
This is a great little shop to stop in and grab freshly brewed coffee. You have the option to add espresso shots to any cup. Their menu of hot caffeinated drinks includes cappuccinos, cappuccino lattes, and cappuccino frappes.
This drink and snack shop is open from 7:00 am to 10:30 am on Monday through Friday. They are located at 310 Higginbotham here in Kilgore.
4. Circle Cafe
This is a great down-home cafe to come and eat a full meal or just stop in for coffee. They are open from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm on Monday through Saturday. This is the place for early risers to come into town and get themselves a hot cup of refillable coffee in a cozy mug.
Circle Cafe is located at 100 Houston St. If you’re going to eat here, too, try the chicken fried steak.
