New and Used Dealership

For 3 Years in a Row

The 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 doesn’t back down from a challenge, as it offers stunning engine strength and off-road capabilities, as well as a rugged yet stylish design. Backwoods trails are no match for its available four-wheel drive system, while city streets and highways are easy to navigate with its sophisticated tech features and multiple driver-assist systems, all of which have helped to quickly make it a fan favorite among drivers.

Performance and Versatility

Whether you plan to use this truck for work or recreation, you’ll easily find an engine to suit you, with four available choices. These include a 305-horsepower 3.0-liter turbo-diesel I-6, 310-horsepower 2.7-liter 4-cylinder, 355-horsepower 5.3-liter V8, and at the top of the heap, a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8.

With four-wheel drive available, there aren’t too many places where this truck can’t go, and if you opt for the ZR2 Bison model, there are many additional features for tackling challenging terrains, from its heavy-duty shock absorbers to front and rear electronic locking differentials that provide the truck with extra traction when needed.

Go on exciting day trips and explore northeastern Texas in a tough Chevy Silverado, a spacious Dodge Durango, or a powerful Jeep Cherokee. Follow the road from Kilgore, TX, to spend a day in beautiful woodlands, on the shores of scenic lakes.

1. Tyler State Park

Take a half-hour drive to Tyler for an outdoor adventure at the beautiful wooded Tyler State Park at 789 Park Road 16. Explore the pine-hardwood forest surrounding the picturesque 64-acre spring-fed lake on 13 miles of hiking and biking trails and catch glimpses of native wildlife along the way. The park is home to white-tailed deer, coyotes, foxes, squirrels, and over 200 species of birds, including resident pine warblers and brown-headed nuthatches.

There’s a boat ramp and three piers, and the park even offers loaner fishing rods, reels, and tackle as part of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Tackle Loaner Program. Rent a canoe or kayak to row on the lake, take a dip in the cool water, fish for bass, perch, crappie, and catfish, and have a lovely picnic under the trees on the shore of the lake before you head home.

When you think of minivans, you probably get a very specific picture in your mind. The first thing that you might think is “soccer mom,” and for good reason. However, before you totally dismiss the idea of owning this type of vehicle, you should know that they are incredibly versatile and spacious must-haves for your family. When it comes to one of the best minivans on the market, check out the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica.

1. You Can Get a Hybrid

If fuel economy is important to you (and it more than likely is), one of the things you’ll love about this minivan is that you can get a hybrid. The battery has a range of more than 500 miles, and it charges six times faster than other hybrid vehicles. This is thanks to the available Chrysler Brand Level 2 EV Home Charging Station. Through the mobile app or web portal, you have the ability to monitor the charging process remotely.

We are lucky to have many sweet spots to stop for great coffee here in Kilgore, TX. Some of our favorite local coffee shops offer simple mugs of hot coffee as well as unique specialty drinks. Here are our top picks in town.

1. Memi D’s Coffee

This is a great little place to stop for coffee. It’s a local experience from start to finish since they use coffee roasted by a locally owned company. Their Signature Drinks menu is where we recommend looking for something different. Try their Almond Joy, a coconut and almond-flavored mocha that’s bound to hit the spot.

This favorite spot to stop for coffee is located at 1210 Stone St. It’s open from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm on Monday through Friday and 7:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays. You’ll love how easy the keyless ignition in your Jeep Renegade Latitude makes climbing in with four to-go cups in hand.

Everyone craves great pizza from time to time. So when you’re in the mood for the best pizza you can find, Kilgore, TX is a good place to be. But deciding on which restaurant to visit can be a challenge. To help satisfy that craving as soon as possible, we’ve created a list of our favorites.

1. Mazzio’s Italian Eatery

Since 1979, Mazzio’s has been a favorite pizza joint. They’ve added to their menu along the way, which now include made-to-order pastas, calzones, subs, wings, salads and more. But the best part, in our opinion, is the endless pizza buffet and salad bar, which is available for lunch on weekdays and for dinner on Tuesday nights.

We also like their traditional and specialty pizzas in which you can choose your crust: thin and crispy, hand-tossed, stuffed, deep pan, or cauliflower. You can also choose from six sauces, as well. They even offer a kids’ menu. Be sure to visit their website for specials. You can find this restaurant at 1704 US-259 business. They are open seven days a week.
