As a smaller sibling to the Blazer, the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer has lots of standard features and a spacious interior that comfortably seats up to five. Explore the four trims of this sleek crossover if you’re looking for a subcompact SUV with style and substance.

LS

Chevy has equipped the Trailblazer with an array of standard driver assistance tech. The LS trim has rear seat alert, auto high beams, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, a rearview camera, and Chevy’s Teen Driver system.

The base model of the Trailblazer is also packed with tech features. You’ll get a six-speaker stereo with satellite radio, a wireless hotspot, two USB ports, Bluetooth, Amazon Alexa, and a 7-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Remote keyless entry is also standard.

LT

If you upgrade to the Trailblazer LT, you’ll enjoy cruise control, remote start, push-button start, proximity keyless entry, a power adjustable driver’s seat, and heated front seats. This trim also adds roof rails and LED fog lights. Both the LS and LT trims come with a turbocharged three-cylinder engine that gets 137 horsepower, along with front-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission. These models get up to 31 highway miles per gallon.

You can customize the LT with several convenience and tech options. Available features include adaptive cruise control, a hands-free power liftgate, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic climate control, a 120-volt household-style power outlet, two additional USB ports, and a larger 8-inch touchscreen.

Activ

The Activ trim comes with upgrades like a heated steering wheel, and synthetic leather upholstery. It also features dual exhaust outlets, 8 inches of ground clearance, and a skid plate, so it’s ready for some trail-riding action.

The top two trims come standard with a larger 155-hp engine, which you can upgrade with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. This powertrain is optional on the two base trims and features selectable terrain modes.

RS

Moving up to the Trailblazer RS adds distinctive synthetic leather seats with cloth accents and 18-inch alloy wheels. Like the Activ trim, it comes standard with the upgraded engine. With the right equipment, the stronger Trailblazer powertrain can tow up to 1,000 pounds. This subcompact is one of the few vehicles in its class with towing capabilities.

In addition to all these modern features, this SUV has a high predicted reliability rating from JD Power and Associates and a five-star overall crash test rating from the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration.
